Our Work
Celebrating Success and Unforgettable Experiences

Emotionally Charged
In just one moment everything can change…
To highlight the spectacular work of Orlando’s only Level One trauma center, Cybis teamed up with the Orlando Health Foundation to create this emotionally-charged video. Recounting the events of a real tragedy, the story comes to life through still photography and first-hand accounts of the events. We were proud to highlight the work of Central Florida’s miracle workers.

We've Got That X-Factor
Cybis debuts on the X Factor with “Mr. Worldwide” in a major broadcast production.
Marking our second major entré into broadcast media, we landed an incredible opportunity through Impulse Creative Group to produce background graphics for Pitbull’s performance on the season finale of X-Factor 2012. Big opportunities often come with big challenges, and this opportunity had its share of obstacles. Namely, it needed to be done in just a few days for rehearsals in L.A. to begin. Oh yeah, and the set design called for seven screens worth of content.
So, we ordered some pizza, strapped on our headphones (and our Pitbull shades) and got to work..
The nearly four-minute performance was set to Pit’s latest hit at the time: “Don’t Stop the Party”. The hip-hop mastermind wanted the visuals to transport the audience to a frosty, ice-like club-scene with a futuristic twist. No problem! Our designs were packed with ice-cold crystals, and chilling color palette contrasted with steamy go-go girl silhouettes and hot lights.
Pitbull and his team at Impulse were blown away – and so was the nation. With just the right amount chill and few blasts of all-out action, the crew at X-Factor said the graphics were some of the best they’d ever seen used on their screens.

Story by Selfie
The growing social media trend promotes participation and membership in whole new way.
DECA and Cybis have done it again! For this year’s membership video we took the theme “I AM DECA” and ran with it. What better way to showcase a focus on YOU than to show us your selfie? Tomorrow’s entrepreneurs are more connected than ever and grabbing their attention is no easy feat. For this membership video we wanted to not only showcase the excitement and appeal of DECA, but to do so in a way that is relatable and memorable for our target audience.
Showcasing the DECA organization through the medium of selfies was a challenge the Cybis creative team was eager to take on. Inspired by a “photo a day” concept, we began pulling together ideas of how to translate the idea of membership through the day-to-day experiences of real life students. It became clear that this had to be done over the course of several months, utilizing numerous locations and contacts. Armed with GoPros, our team set off to Sugar Land Texas to capture the ins & outs of a typical school day for DECA members. Participating in anything from meetings to exploring a pep-rally, we explored the full gamut of on-campus life. From there we took our team to Anaheim, California for the International Career Development Conference, the annual event for DECA’s 18,000 members. Finding our Sugarland students was our first priority upon arrival but we also made sure to follow several other groups during our time in Anaheim, making this the most broadly captured conference in our history with the organization.
10 cameras and 200GB+ of footage later it was time for our editing team in Orlando to bring our story together. Branching out from the standard educational based promo focus we opted to highlight involvement and participation on the student level.
“It was refreshing to see membership through the experiences of actual students. Cybis definitely took that out of the equation and made it easy for me as an editor to keep the momentum and excitement alive from start to finish. I almost wish I could go back in time to experience the benefits of being a DECA member myself!”Kathryn Porter, Cybis Editor
This new approach was a win-win for both our team at Cybis & DECA. Standing at over 28 thousand views on YouTube, this promotion not only provides an in-depth look of the organization but prompts social media awareness to boot!
What a fantastic video! I truly believe that this video will help with recruitment this Fall!-Anna H (YouTube)

Build a Better You
From stage design to scriptwriting to creative, this 3D projection mapping stage took dedication across every department.
For HOSA’s 2013 National Leadership Conference, Cybis debuted a state-of-the-art projection mapping set.
Over two months, we designed and produced the entire stage from the ground up: beginning with the initial concepts and renders, through the physical construction of nearly forty 3D cubes, the technical logistics of flawlessly blending four high-powered projectors, and the creative design and animation for nearly 300 graphics which displayed behind the on-stage talent.
The biggest challenge was reinventing our approaches for so many elements of the 3D set. Never before had we designed content around a 3D surface, let alone rendered them in a format that would seamlessly play and map across this many projectors. It’s a huge testament to our team’s dedication to answer so many unknowns without running a full-scale test until we were on-site.”– Allen Ellis, Senior Creative Producer
The 40’ wide by 16’ canvas presented a unique way to display the session’s content, while showcasing stunning imagery. The dimensional set also featured a VIP archway for high-profile VIP’s and an overhead, floating beam with continually scrolling content.
The most inspiring part of this project was the way we brought all of our departments together. Our stage designers were working with our scriptwriters and graphics designers to coordinate the blocking and graphic layouts for each of the show’s most pivotal moments.– Danny Spors, Associate Producer

Stage Design with POW!
Cybis revealed new superpowers with a stage design ripped from the pages of a comic book.
Cybis teamed up with TRI Leadership Resources for Georgia FCCLA’s 2013 State Leadership Meeting – bringing comic book style to the “Saving the World… One Leader at a Time!” identity. Inspired by the pages out of “The Amazing Spiderman,” our creative media team brought to life a mighty and POW!-erful look for the logo.
Larger than life 3D halftone-textured panels, towering 16 feet in the air, created an epic backdrop for the scene. And what superhero lair would be complete without a dramatic entrance? In the center of the stage stood a sliding door, revealing the true heroes behind the event – Georgia FCCLA’s members.
“The team was proud to know that we had introduced the first sliding door entrance at a Cybis event! It was impressive to see the door slide open for the first time to reveal the officers in their sharp, red blazers as they stepped into the spotlight – sometimes striking a superhero pose or two!”-Danny Spors, Associate Producer

I Want My MTV… Movie Awards
Cybis supports the MTV Movie Awards with motion graphic elements for major film trailers premieres.
Cybis was given the incredible opportunity to design motion graphic elements for upcoming major films at the 2011 MTV Movie Awards, airing before millions. The rich graphics were featured on-stage during their “World Exclusive Premiere” segments.
Clayton Carter led the project by hand-designing and developing visual textures that were projected across 5 different LED screens built into the amazing stage. The looping textures were featured before sneak peeks of major films like The Green Lantern, Super 8, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, and Twilight: Breaking Dawn.
With just over a week to air, Cybis created and delivered dynamic and custom content on a very tight deadline… They were able to transform the screens into various dynamic living environments that could be appreciated by both the live audience and viewers at home! They were just terrific to work with.”-Jane Mun, MTV Movie Awards Supervising Producer
From the billowing smoke and electric plasma streams in The Green Lantern to the subtle rays of sunlight peeking through the branches in Twilight: Breaking Dawn, the rich environments created a pleasing and captivating asset to the overall stage design.
This marks the first time Cybis’ work has been featured by a major television network during a live event broadcast to millions of viewers! We anxiously await another occasion to team up with MTV in the future.
“It was an honor and definitely a pleasure to have a part in such a thrilling, and truly creative event! Armed with only matte paintings and promotional stills from the studios, we were able to bring them to life on screen using some pretty simple, but solid visual effects,” Clayton stated. “For Super 8, we rebuilt the movie poster’s silhouetted ‘skyline’ in front of a turbulent dark sky. Paying homage to J.J. Abrams, we added plenty of his signature lens flares to the scene.”

New Years Eve Miami Style
Cybis and Impulse Creative Group teamed to build a brand for Mr. Worldwide’s Miami New Year’s celebration. ¡Dalé!
Shortly after wrapping our work with Pitbull for his performance on X-Factor’s 2012 season finale, Impulse Creative group handed us the opportunity to build the look and feel for Pit’s very own New Year’s “finale” concert, to be held in Miami. Inspired by one of his more devious lyrics the theme was, cleverly, What Happens in Miami Never Happened.
Just weeks before the event we met with Impulse to get the scoop on Pitbull’s tastes and desires for this hallmark brand. They were looking for a mix of high-class and club-trash. It needed to feature Pitbull prominently and weave together elegant text, sexy ladies and all the accouterments of a swanky new year’s blowout.
Pitbull wanted the identity to have the swank of a club flyer, with the class of a bottle of Voli Vodka – the brand he represents.-Clayton Carter, Creative Director
We delivered. The logo featured a glitzy Miami skyline, bottles of Voli Vodka, and fireworks all anchored by a dapper Pitbull in shades, flanked by silhouettes of his enchanting entourage of dancers. It was a number one hit. We quickly animated it for the concert’s HUGE screen just in time for rehearsals and the live broadcast. Pitbull himself called it “Sexy.” #ithappened

Engaging Experience
Cybis dazzled attendees with a vivid, animated projection mapping stage set for Orlando’s official tourism association.
Cybis was hand-selected by Visit Orlando, official tourism association for the most visited destination in the United States, to provide design, technology and production leadership for their Annual Insights and Marketing Luncheon.

Cybis was able to bring the theme they created and pitched, ENGAGE, to life on stage by building an expanding, interlocking identity that represented these leaders fitting together to share their strengths and visions.
Audience members watched in awe as a stunning visual display of countless geometric shapes soared across the stage, unfolding and refolding in a dazzling show of interconnectivity. Using state-of-the-art projection mapping, strategic stage design and eye-popping performance detail, Cybis delivered an unforgettable brand identity.
Cybis has been a proud member of Visit Orlando since 2007.

Not Safe for Work? Not in Our Case
Cybis gets its hands dirty with some ultra raunchy, but ultra sweet video backdrops for the Pitbull world tour.
They’re raunchy, they’re nasty, and they’re just plain inappropriate to look at while at the office. That is, of course, unless you’re one of the animators at OUR office. In July, 2013 our buddies at Impulse Creative Group and their pal Pitbull hit us up once again with a new challenge posed by Mr. Worldwide. Our mission: to make three new custom video backdrops for three of Pitbull’s classic club anthems… and make them as gratuitously disgusting as possible.
At least that’s what our moms would say about them.
It got a little (ok a lot) awkward around the studio with our creative director asking for more t–t’s and more a-s in the videos… but hey, whatever it takes!-Jeff Kepler, Creative Media Designer
In reality, what we created for Pit’s “Shake It,” “Culo,” and “I Know You Want Me” were ultra hip works of art, featuring bold type, futuristic lines and shapes, dazzling tunnels and transitions… and sure, a little T&A. We’re talking sexy dancers shaking all they’ve got in a variety of tantalizing outfits and poses. Synced dead-on to the music, each video featured parts of the lyrics in big bright text, encouraging concert-goers to sing along.
While the videos’ appeal clearly leaned towards those of us with testosterone pumping through our veins, Pitbull kindly asked that the pieces be tasteful enough for ladies to love. From what we’ve seen of the concert footage, ladies and fellas alike loved the videos just as much as they love the sexy, shiny-headed crooner from Cuba who tied it all together in a concert no one will soon forget.

This audience interaction encouraged active participation from not only the individuals but the entire hall of attendees and really got the excitement hyped!

Stage Design Cubed
Our premier projection mapping debut: floating 3D cubes above a national stage.
The 2012 National Leadership Conference hosted by HOSA had a big theme – “Impact your Future” – and so at Team Cybis we knew we had to think even bigger.
And so we created two giant cubes, each standing sixteen feet tall. Our visual graphic display was projected onto these cubes using state-of-the-art 3D projection mapping. Mixed with our unique lighting and perspective mapping, the display was rich with depth and complexity.
This grand spectacle was presented in front of over seven thousand HOSA members at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort.

Chart Your Course
Get ready to sail away on an adventure with Georgia FBLA’s “Chart Your Course” identity.
Get ready to sail away on an adventure with Georgia FBLA’s “Chart Your Course” identity! Pack your bags full of hopes and dreams because the possibilities on this journey are endless. Georgia FBLA students will be inspired to create their own destinations and prepare their sea-legs for a wild ride this year!
We were instantly inspired by nautical tools like compass rose, sea charts, and directional arrows. Note how we’ve incorporated these and other sailing elements throughout the logo! The circular seal we’ve created is Islands of Adventure meets Sperry Top Sider! Instead of going with traditional navy sailor colors, we’ve chosen a spicy coral/salmon color palette paired with a muted sea green to really give it some pop! Our approach to typography was to give a little edge to the design to complement the bright colors. A deep chocolate color gives weight to the wording by allowing it to jump off the face of the compass.
Throughout this logo, you’ll realize some fine touches we’ve added to convey the nautical theme. The A in “Chart” is etched with lines to resemble an old-fashioned drafting compass, heavily used in navigation. At the bottom, we’ve added navigational elements like a distance scale and kept a classic map font for the National Leadership Conference information.
Georgia FBLA provides members with the necessary navigational tools to steer them in the right direction of their goals. Expect further application of this identity to inspire each student to reach for the stars and show them what they must do to get there.
Prepare yourself for adventure as we set sail to the unknown, where anything can happen while you embark on your route to success.

Joining them underwater: a siren like model, fully dressed in an extravagant couture gown her long hair and dress flowing slowly and graciously with the currents.
This undersea showcase of beauty and grace transforms the Grand Court of the world famous Mall at Millenia, displaying the aquatic ballet to thousands of international visitors every day.
